Der Wunsch nach einer solchen technischen Ausgestaltung hat sich aus dem Interview nicht direkt ergeben.

Letztendlich ist es eine Frage der Perspektive, ob man das Bestehen solcher Möglichkeiten annehmen möchte. Grundsätzlich kann man dies schon bejahen – allerdings mit der Einschränkung, dass nicht die Verlage das Angebot stellen, sondern der Suchmaschinen- bzw. Aggregatorbetreiber (hier in der Form der kostenlosen Nutzung von Snippets gegen kostenfreie Nutzerzuführung). Die Verlage haben die Möglichkeit dieses Angebot anzunehmen, oder eben nicht.

Ich kann schon nachvollziehen, dass ihnen hier das “Diktat” des Angebots nicht ins Konzept passt. Dennoch müsste den Verlagen klar sein, dass in der Regel die Vertragspartei das Angebot stellt, die weniger auf die Annahme des anderen angewiesen ist. Der Markt regelt eben Angebot und Nachfrage.

Ebenso wäre es für ihr Haus wohl kaum praktikabel, an der Pay-Wall oder beim Kauf einer App auf Gegenangebote der potentiellen Nutzer einzugehen. Dort wiederum ist ihre Seite die “stärkere” Partei und diktiert die Bedingungen nach Belieben.
